During his meeting on Tuesday with Da Nang People's Council Vice Chairman Huynh Nghia, the Chairman of the Czech Committee on Budgetary Control at the Chamber of Deputies, Mr Vladimir Konicek, said that he was very impressed with Da Nang's beautiful beaches and the amazing bridges across the Han River. 

The Czech chairman reported that an electronic component manufacturer for export from his country would invest in the city in the near future.  He hoped that this project would help to open up new prospects for bilateral cooperation with Da Nang in the future.

In reply, Vice Chairman Nghia asked Mr Konicek to encourage more Czech businesses to seek investment opportunities in the city.  He also vowed that the local authorities would create even more favourable conditions for foreign investors, including those from the Czech Republic.
