An online meeting took place on Thursday to discuss a draft Law on Local Government Organisation.  In Da Nang, the Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Council (PC) and Head of the city's National Assembly (NA) members' group, Mr Huynh Nghia, was a participant.

During the event, full-time NA deputies from the 63 localities nationwide discussed and revised some articles of the draft law.  They included: identifying the features of special economic-administrative units and governmental organisation models; clarifying the rights of central and local authorities; the regulations about rights and obligations of local authorities, along with the local People’s Council and its People’s Committee.
