During his meeting on Tuesday with the Envoy of the Japanese Embassy in Viet Nam, Mr Nagai Katsuro, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Phung Tan Viet said he would like the Japanese government and businesses to continue giving support and investment to the city.  He said that the city authorities would create very favourable conditions for Japanese businesses seeking new investment opportunities in the city.

Mr Katsuro replied by saying that his government would provide more official development assistance (ODA) capital for infrastructure projects in Da Nang, and in Viet Nam as a whole.  The Japanese diplomat also spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation in culture and education over recent years and said that this has helped to strengthen bilateral ties.
