On Thursday, leaders of the Da Nang Military Zone 5 High Command visited and congratulated the staff members of the Consulate General of Russia in Da Nang in recognition of the 25^th anniversary of Russia’s National Day (12 June).

The Deputy Commander of Military Zone 5, Major General Nguyen Dinh Tien, expressed his delight at the fine development of the bilateral traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Russia.  He also took the opportunity to thank the Russian government for its great support during the construction and protection progress of his country.  He believed that Russia would overcome its current difficulties to become more stable and prosperous.

In reply, the Russian Consul General in Da Nang, Mr Valentin M Dikushin, said he hoped that the bilateral cooperation with Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, would be futher deepened, especially in defence, and gain more remarkable achievements in the years ahead.
