President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan praised the visit made by permanent Vice President of the Lao Front for National Construction, Tong Yerthor, in Ha Noi on July 15, saying it is taking place as Viet Nam prepares for the 12^th National Party Congress which will debate ties between the two Fronts.

Nhan expressed hope that both sides would share experiences in personnel training and operation reforms during their talks.

The VFF Central Committee will do its best to educate young generations on the special solidarity, friendship and comprehensive co-operation between the two Parties, States and peoples, Nhan said.

Yerthor expressed the hope that the visit would advance ties between the two countries and fronts in particular.

He also pledged his determination to foster friendly and all-around coordination between the two Parties, States and peoples.
