World Bank to consider more loans for Sustainable Development Project
Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho recently met with some representatives from the World Bank (WB) to review the implementation of the city’s Sustainable Development Project.
The 272.135 million USD project is being implemented until 2018. Of this, 202.435 million USD is coming from World Bank loans, and the remainder is from the city’s budget.
Representatives from the WB agreed to consider giving an additional 86.5 million USD in loans to help the city build a drainage system for local families living near the My An and My Khe tourist beaches, install intelligent transport and integrated ticket systems in the city, and construct the DH2 street in Hoa Vang District.
