Viet Nam has indisputable sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spartly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagoes and any activities conducted in the area by other countries without permission and agreement from Viet Nam are wrong and void.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh made the remarks at a regular press conference in Ha Noi on September 10 while being asked about Viet Nam’s response to China installing 4G coverage in the Hoang Sa archipelago.

“We have asserted repeatedly that Viet Nam has indisputable sovereignty over the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes. That other countries conduct activities there without permission and agreement from Viet Nam is illegal and completely worthless,” he stated.
