Numerous large-scale emulation campaigns launched by local women’s unions at grass-roots level have been implemented effectively, and they have attracted a great deal of attention from the general public. In particular, there has been a considerable increase in the number of women being elected to key positions in local Party organisations, especially to the municipal PC’s Executive Committee and the PC’s Standing Board for the 2015 - 2020 tenure. This positive sign has demonstrated the vital role of local women in society.
The city leader also took the opportunity to urge local women to uphold the good traditional virtues of Vietnamese women in order to make more significant devotion to the city’s progress.
