During her recent courtesy visit to Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho, the Mexican Ambassador to Viet Nam, Ms Sara Valdes Bolano, said that Da Nang has yet to set up any official friendship and cooperative relations with Mexican localities.  She said that Mexico’s Toluca City is willing to establish a bilateral relationship with Da Nang to enhance their cooperation in such aspects as trade, education, tourism, culture, science and technology, and gender equality issues.

In reply, Chairman Tho remarked that foreign investors are always welcome to learn about the investment climate in the city.  He vowed that the city authorities would always facilitate foreign businesses to enjoy the benefits of local incentives for foreign investors.

The city leader highlighted that the establishment of diplomatic ties with Toluca City would create a premise for boosting long-term cooperative relations with Mexico in the future.
