Ms Saran said that her Indian Embassy in Viet Nam will be organising an Indian film festival in Da Nang and will cooperate with the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism to make a film to advertise Viet Nam’s tourism in her country. She hoped that the city authorities would facilitate her embassy to organise these events, as well as to promote the benefits of Yoga and enrol more local students for the Viet Nam-India English Training Centre in the city.
In reply, the Da Nang Party Committee Secretary, Mr Nguyen Xuan Anh, emphasised that top priority is being given to making Da Nang into an environmentally-friendly city, and ensuring local social security and the safety of visitors. He said he hoped that the bilateral cooperative relationship with India would be further fostered and gain more remarkable achievements in the years ahead.
The municipal People’s Committee Chairman, Mr Huynh Duc Tho, pledged that the local authorities would create very favourable conditions for the Indian Embassy in Viet Nam to successfully organise the above-mentioned cultural events, and help the India English Training Centre become a self-financing organisation.
