Appealing for more Japanese businesses to invest in city
The Da Nang Party Committee Secretary, Mr Nguyen Xuan Anh, recently played host to a group of representatives from the Japanese Business Association (JBAD), led by its Chairman Furukawa Hiroki.
Secretary Anh praised the great efforts of Japanese businesses in boosting the city’s socio-economic development, making significant contributions to the city’s budget, and creating more jobs for local residents.

The host said he hoped that JBAD would continue its efforts to appeal for more Japanese businesses to invest in various aspects, but especially in the hi-tech and information technology industries. He pledged that the authorities would create very favourable conditions for Japanese businesses to invest and operate effectively in the city.
In reply, Chairman Hiroki thanked the city leaders for their active support for Japanese businesses over recent years. He also took the opportunity to wish them a happy and warm Lunar New Year and hoped that the bilateral cooperative relationship with Da Nang would be further strengthened in the years ahead.
