Following a recent decision by the Da Nang authorities about appointing and rotating the city’s key officials, the former Chief of the municipal Party Committee Secretariat, Mr Vo Ngoc Dong, has been promoted to be Director of the Da Nang Department of Home Affairs and Chairman of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands District People’s Committee (PC).  The former Secretary of the Ngu Hanh Son District Party Committee, Mr Dao Tan Bang, has been appointed Chief of the municipal Party Committee Secretariat.

In addition, the former Director of the Department of Education and Training, Mr Le Trung Chinh, has been appointed Secretary of the Ngu Hanh Son District Party Committee over the 2015 - 2010 tenure.  The former Editor-in-Chief of the Da Nang Newspaper, Mr Nguyen Dinh Vinh, has been promoted to be the Director of the Department of Education and Training.

In a further move, the former Director of the municipal Department of Home Affairs and Chairman of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands District PC, Mr Vo Cong Chanh, has been appointed Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee over the 2015 - 2010 tenure.

The former Deputy Head of the Legislative Board of the municipal People’s Council in the 8^th tenure for the 2011 - 2016 term, Mr Ta Tu Binh, has been appointed Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Justice.

The former Head of the Cultural and Social Board of the People’s Council in the 8^th tenure for the 2011 - 2016 term, Mr Vu Hung, has been appointed Deputy Head of the Publicity and Training Department of the municipal Party Committee.  

The former Deputy Secretary of the municipal Youth Union Organisation, Mr Doan Xuan Hieu, has been appointed Deputy Chief of the city's National Assembly members' group secretariat.

The former Deputy Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee, Mr Pham Tan Xu, has been recommended for the position of Head of the Cultural and Social Board of the People’s Council.  The recommendation has been sent to the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat for approval.
