The 1^st session of the 14^th National Assembly (NA) is taking place in Ha Noi from 20 - 29 July.  Amongst the participants are 6 members from Da Nang. 

During the 9-day session, NA members nationwide will elect the NA Chairperson and Vice Chairs, members of the NA Standing Committee, the Chair of the NA Ethnic Council, the heads of the NA committees, and the NA Secretary General.

They will also decide on the apparatus of government, approve the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other government members, and members of the National Defence and Security Council.

In addition, participants will hear the government’s report on socio-economic development and the State budget for the first half of this year, and discuss solutions to the socio-economic development and State budget for the rest of the year, the NA’s supervision programme for 2017, and the establishment of specialised inspection groups.
