After a 3-day sitting, the 2^nd session of the Da Nang People’s Council (PCl) in its 9^th tenure of the 2016 - 2021 term concluded on Thursday afternoon.

Addressing the event, municipal PCl Chairman Nguyen Xuan Anh highly praised the city’s remarkable achievements over the first half of this year.  He also pointed out several shortcomings in implementing the city’s socio-economic development targets during the period.  He remarked that more measures should be taken to fulfil the city’s development targets for this year.   

The city leader took the opportunity to ask the local authorities and the heads of government departments and agencies to do their utmost to fulfil their assigned tasks and build trust amongst local residents.  

During the 3 days, 23 important resolutions were passed by Council members.  In addition, Mr Le Quang Nam, Director of the municipal Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, was elected a member of the municipal People’s Committee with 97.96% of the votes.
