Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh recently played host to Mr Koide Joji, the Mayor of Ichihara City in Japan’s Chiba Prefecture, and a group from the Ichihara City Sports Association.

Vice Chairman Minh briefed his guests on the city’s school sports activities, and the remarkable achievements in local physical education and sports movements over recent years.

The city leader hoped that the two localities would increase mutual exchanges, promote their bilateral friendship, and boost bilateral cooperation in various aspects in the years ahead.

The host also took the opportunity to ask Mayor Koide to help his city promote its school sports movements in order to enhance the quality of entertainment and physical education activities at local schools.

Mayor Koide said that his city is willing to enhance mutual exchanges and foster bilateral cooperation with Da Nang.

In addition, Mr Koide remarked that his city would provide active support for Da Nang in promoting the development of skateboarding and football for local adolescents, teenagers and children.
