A grand ceremony will be held at the Tien Son Sports Arena tomorrow morning (31 December) to mark the 20^th anniversary of Da Nang’s recognition as a centrally-governed city on 1 January 1997.  The event is for invited guests only.

Today, as part of the city’s anniversary celebrations (30 December), representatives from the municipal Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee offered incense and laid wreaths at the 2 September Peace Monument.  

Also today, a seminar entitled ‘Da Nang: 20 Years of Construction, Development, and Future Orientation’ took place in the city, whilst an exciting arts performance will be held at the Tien Son Sports Arena at 8.00pm tonight.
