During his meeting on Monday with a group of South Korean businesspeople, Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho introduced the city’s favourable geographical position, its investment potential, and its incentive policies for foreign investors.

He remarked, “Taking advantage of its long coastline and beautiful landscapes, Da Nang has great potential for bolstering tourism, and especially the tourism real estate sector into which numerous South Korean businesses have already invested.  We pledge to create very favourable conditions for foreign investors, including those from South Korea, to deploy their projects effectively in the city”.

On behalf of the visiting group, the Vice President of the Shinhan Bank, Mr Ki-Hyun Kim, said that he was very impressed by the city’s rapid growth and its potential for tourism and investment.  He added that the purpose of their visit was to seek comprehensive investment opportunities in the city. 

Mr Kim hoped that the bilateral cooperative relations with Da Nang would be fostered in the years ahead, and he announced that a new tourism real estate project would be implemented in the city soon by South Korean businesses.
