On Thursday, Da Nang People’s Council (PCl) Vice Chairman Nguyen Nho Trung, along with some of the city’s National Assembly (NA) members, met with voters in the wards of My An and Khue My, both in Ngu Hanh Son District, to hear about the local issues of most concern to them.

The NA members briefed the voters on the recent 3rd session of the municipal PCl in its 9th tenure, and the 3rd session of the Ngu Hanh Son District’s PCl in its 4th tenure of the 2016 - 2021 term.

The voters raised their concerns about the current environmental pollution problems in some locations in the district, and that there are no entertainment areas exclusively for local teenagers or the elderly.

They also underlined the need for the authorities at municipal and district levels to ensure food safety and hygiene, completely resolve delayed local projects, and open new public footpaths to allow residents access to the local beaches.

The voters proposed that the city authorities should tighten their management of ex-pats permanently and temporarily living in the district, as well as landlords and house owners who house foreign citizens, especially Chinese nationals.   The intention is to detect and deal with those who violate the country’s immigration and temporary residency declaration regulations.
