On Wednesday, Da Nang Party Committee (PaC) Secretary Nguyen Xuan Anh and Deputy Secretary Vo Cong Tri attended the annual meeting of employees working for the municipal Party Committee’s (PaC’s) Office.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary Vo Cong Tri praised the Office’s employees for their great efforts in fulfilling their assigned tasks during 2016.  The focus was on making suggestions to the city leaders about guidelines, policies, tasks and solutions to implement the PaC’s resolutions, and developing working plans for the PaC’s Standing Board.

He also asked the employees to enhance their professional skills and working styles in order to successfully fulfil PaC’s general tasks, and to make suggestions to the city leaders about increasing the effective management of the PaC’s budget.  This year, importance should be attached to boosting the application of information technology in local authority and Party departments, along with political and social organisations, and to enhancing the quality of reception, management and archives services.

The Chief of the municipal Party Committee Secretariat, Dao Tan Bang, affirmed “The Office will make every effort to fulfil this year’s assigned tasks with a focus on enhancing employees’ professional skills and boosting IT applications”.    

During last year, the Office’s employees prepared the content for over 200 meetings with local relevant agencies, and issued 132 conclusions from the PaC about over 1,000 issues.  They also served 132 meetings and conferences which together involved the participation of around 7,300 people, 27 delegations of national-level high ranking officials, 10 groups of international guests, and 12 delegations of government officials from other localities.
