Hanwha Corporation wants to participate in DIFF
During his reception on Thursday for the Director of Strategy and Planning from South Korea’s Hanwha Corporation, Mr Jang Yong Soo, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh highly applauded the group’s keen interest in participating in the city’s forthcoming Danang International Fireworks Festival 2017 (DIFF). In particular, the Hanwha Corporation wants to be involved in various cultural activities to be held during this international event, including the South Korea-Viet Nam Cultural Exchange Festival.

Director Soo also remarked that his Corporation is keen to learn about the city’s investment climate, and especially its environmentally-friendly tourism services and solar power.
Vice Chairman Minh asked leaders of the city’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Investment Promotion Centre, and Hi-tech Park Authority to jointly assist the South Korean group in seeking investment opportunities in the local priority sectors.
Hanwha Corporation is one of the 10 largest business groups in South Korea, and it is involved in such aspects as services, entertainment, tourism, finance, and manufacturing. Since 2000, the Corporation has been the organiser of the annual Seoul International Fireworks Festival which is the largest of its kind in South Korea and attracts around 1 million visitors every year.
