Vice Chairman Minh proudly said, “Over recent years, Da Nang has recorded an average annual growth rate of around 30% in such aspects as real estate, apartments and luxury resorts. This positive result plays a significant role in promoting the development of local tourism services and trading activities”.
Currently, a total of 125 Japanese businesses and representative offices are operating in the city, with their investment capital totalling about 465 million USD. Together they have created around 40,000 jobs for local residents.
Vice Chairman Minh said that he would like the Japanese company to conduct research into the deployment of projects in those aspects in which the 2 sides show a keen interest. Included are education, tourism, real estate, and hi-tech industries.
Ms Mitsuko highly appreciated the city leaders for their flexible and creative management capacity in attracting domestic and FDI inflows into the city, and for facilitating foreign businesses to operate effectively in the city.
She affirmed that Yamaichi Kousan Co Ltd boasts strengths in manufacturing concrete, implementing real estate investment projects, and training nurses to care for the elderly and the disabled. She hoped that the city authorities would assist her company, as soon as possible, to conduct research into the deployment of projects in these aspects in the city.
