Vice Chairman Dung highly praised Keximbank for effectively implementing its projects in Da Nang. Most notably, since 2013 the bank has donated medical equipment to the value of 10 million USD to the city’s Centre for Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine. This has helped to support cancer screening and diagnosis for people from Da Nang and elsewhere in the central region and highlands.
Mr Dung added that Keximbank is cooperating with the local relevant agencies to conduct a feasibility study of the 2nd phase of an information and communications technology development project which aims to make Da Nang a smarter city in the years ahead.
He noted that the city is appealing for donations to build a monorail connecting Da Nang International Airport with Hoi An. He asked whether Keximbank would consider give financial aid to the city to deploy its development projects.
In reply, Chief Representative Park spoke highly of the remarkable socio-economic achievements the city has recorded over recent years. He said that he was very impressed by the city’s top position in Viet Nam’s 2016 Information and Communications Technology (ICT) applications and development readiness ranking for the 8th consecutive year.
Mr Park affirmed that Keximbank would promote investment into the city’s priority aspects such as infrastructure construction, transportation, and information technology development.
