The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister cum Chairman of the National Committee on APEC 2017, Mr Pham Binh Minh, signed a decision on April 3 on the completion of the Committee’s personnel.

Under the decision, the two vice chairmen of the committee are Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, who is also Chair of the Viet Nam SOM APEC 2017, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai.

The 23 members include Vice Chairman of the Presidential Office Chu Van Yem, Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen XuanThanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security Bui Van Nam, Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam, Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh, and Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Xuan Ha.

Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee (PC) Huynh Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi PC Ngo Van Quy, and Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City PC Le Thanh Liem are along among members of the committee that is responsible for directing and coordinating with relevant agencies and localities to organise activities of the APEC Year 2017.
