Vice Chairman Dung said, “Da Nang is now in need of highly-skilled human resources to promote local economic development. The city, therefore, is giving its top priority to increasing investment into the local education sector, with a focus on training high-quality human resources, and issuing more preferential mechanisms and policies for businesses involved in this aspect”.
Mr Tom Harris proudly said that CINEC is an independent international education group which provides its training programmes in the BC’s education system at its international schools in Canada. It offers training programmes for primary, junior and senior high school pupils. After graduating from an international senior high school in BC’s education system, students will be eligible to apply for places at universities in Canada.
Mr Harris said that his group has already completed the preparation of the necessary documentation for establishing a Canadian-invested international school in Da Nang. He also said he would like the city authorities to grant an investment licence for his group, and to facilitate them to seek a suitable location for building the school late this year.
In reply, Vice Chairman Dung vowed that the local authorities would create the most favourable conditions for the Canadian group to soon implement this project in the city.
