Daegu willing to help city to control green and smart urban resilience
On Wednesday, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh played host to Mr Ku Bongeun, Head of the Board of Planning and Coordination of Daegu City in South Korea.

During his reception for his guest, Vice Chairman Minh thanked the Daegu authorities for boosting their cooperation with Da Nang over recent years, as well as for their active involvement in accelerating the start of a project to build an integrated centre for controlling green and smart urban resilience (ENSUNRE) in Da Nang.
He highlighted the significance of the ENSUNRE centre in promoting the application of information technology in urban management, natural disaster mitigation, search and rescue activities, and climate change adaptation in the city. He pledged that the Da Nang authorities would create very favourable conditions for the Daegu experts to complete the ENSUNRE project and issue its results successfully.
In reply, Mr Ku Bongeun said that the Daegu authorities are willing to help Da Nang to implement this project. He also said he would like Da Nang’s authorities to join efforts with his city to start the project as soon as possible and get the best results. He also hoped that the bilateral cooperative relationship with Da Nang will be fostered in the years ahead.
