JETRO shows keen in seeking investment opportunities in city
Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho recently played host to a group of representatives from 12 Japanese businesses, led by Mr Hironobu Kitagawa, chief representative of Japanese External Trade Organisation (JETRO) in Ha Noi.

Chairman Tho spoke highly of the effective operation of Japanese businesses in the city, which has helped to create jobs for thousands of local residents and ensure their stable incomes.
The city leader also asked for help from JETRO and Japanese businesses to faciliate his city to advertise its images and incentive policies to investors from their country. He vowed that the city authorities would create very favourable conditions for Japanese businesses to seek investment opportunies and deploy their projects in his city.
Mr Kitagawa remarked that he was very impressed with the city’s rapid growth over recent years, especially in the tourism and hospitality industry. He said that JETRO shows keen interest in investing into ASEAN countries, including Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.
The visiting guest expressed his belief that Da Nang would attract even more Japanese businesses to invest in various aspects, especially the tourism and hospitality industry.
Also at the reception, the Japanese guests said they would like the city leader to give them more information about the local investment policies into the hospitality and leisure sector. The intention is to facilitate them to appeal for even more Japanese businesses to pour their money into the city’s priority aspects which are seeking investment.
