During his reception on Wednesday for Finnish Ambassador to Viet Nam Kari Kahilouto, Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho expressed his delight at the fruitful results from the bilateral cooperative ties with Finnish localities over recent years. The focus has been on cooperation in such aspects as education and training, smart city building solutions, and start-up and innovation activities.

The host also asked for help from the Finnish Ambassador to appeal for even more businesses from his country to invest in such aspects in which the two sides show a keen interest. Included are IT, start-up and innovation activities, hospitality, and education.

The foreign diplomat proudly said that his country boasts great advantages and experience on hospitality, start-up and innovation activities, which are very suitable for boosting bilateral cooperation with Da Nang.

The visiting guest said he hoped the Da Nang government would create the most favourable conditions for Finnish businesses to seek investment opportunities in the city, and deploy their projects here.
