Over the last year and the first 4 months of this year, officers and men on the Tien Nu Island have strictly maintained combat readiness, regularly conduct patrols to detect and deal with any unexpected situations, and obey the military service rules.

In addition, the naval soldiers have helped fishermen conduct their fishing activities near the Island, and provided 1,600 litres of freshwater, free medicines and for 95 fishermen. Also, they have been actively involved in growing vegetables, raising poultry and livestock, and fishing in order to ensure enough food for them.

During their visit to the Nui Le Island, the city leaders expressed their happiness with remarkable achievements gained by the Island’s officers and men. The Da Nang guests affirmed that they would encourage their mainland residents to join forces with naval soldiers to firmly protect the country’s territorial integrity and its sovereignty over its sea and island through their active involvement in local emulation movements, and promoting their production and business activities.

During their visits, Da Nang’s leaders presented the officers and men on the 2 islands with 3 computers and printers, along with 3 water purifiers, and 19 packages of necessities.
