Japanese University seeks cooperative opportunities in the city
During his reception on Wednesday for Mr Mineyuki Fukuda, Director of Tama University’s Centre for Rule-making Strategies in Japan, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh briefed him on his city’s strengths in such aspects as tourism, infrastructure development, information technology (IT), and hi-tech industry.

The host remarked that Da Nang is one of the country’s leading localities to apply IT in urban management and development. In addition, the focus is being on building a smarter city.
Vice Chairman Minh asked for help from the Japanese centre to conduct research into a smart city model which should be in line with the city’s development strategies.
Director Fukuda showed keen interest in learning about the city’s incentive policies regarding science and technology, IT, urban development, and renewable energy.
