A delegation of representatives from the authorities, organisations and associations in Da Nang, along with reporters from media agencies citywide made a journey to Khanh Hoa Province’s Truong Sa Islands District and the marine defence platform DK1 from 10 - 18 May.

The delegation was led by Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan.

During their 9-day trip, the delegation visited officers and men on the islands of Song Tu Tay, Da Nam, Da Thi, Nam Yet, Sinh Ton Dong, Len Dao, Tien Nu, Nui Le A, Da Dong C, Truong Sa, and Da Lat, plus the marine defence platform DK1.

Also, these visitors presented gifts, worth around 980 million VN in total, to the officers and men on these sacred territory venues.

Notably, they attended a ceremony of installing a signboard for the multi-purpose cultural house on the Da Lat Island. The construction cost of the house came from the city’s budget.
