NA Vice Chairwoman visits city's social policy families
On Monday, Vice Chairwoman of the Viet Nam National Assembly (NA) Tong Thi Phong visited Vietnamese heroic mother Ngo Thi Boi, and war invalids Lam Van Ba, and Nguyen Xuan Ca in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District, in recognition of the 71st anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (27 July).

She was accompanied by municipal People's Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, and Deputy Head of the city’s NA members’ group Nguyen Ba Son.
Vice Chairwoman Phong expressed her deep gratitude to the Vietnamese heroic mothers and war invalids for their great sacrifices for the reunification of the country.
She also wished them good health, and hoped that they would remain as bright examples for younger generations to follow.
Mrs Phong affirmed that the Party and State of Viet Nam have paid special care for those who made great contributions to the nation’s revolutionary cause. In addition, NA has given top priority to issuing preferential policies for them.
