These projects mainly involve in real estates, education, construction and information technology (IT). Most of the Singaporean firms in Da Nang have been operating well over recent years, hereby actively helping to boost technology transfer, human resource training, and export market expansion.
Vice Chairman Mien also asked for help from Mr Tan Weiming to promote the bilateral cooperation in IT, investment, and trade between Da Nang and Singaporean businesses in an intensive and comprehensive manner. In addition, Mr Mien hoped that Da Nang’s investment attraction policies would be introduced widely to more businesses from this island city-state.
In reply, the Singaporean diplomat expressed his delight at maintaining and strengthening very close bilateral relationship, especially specific investment cooperation programmes between the Da Nang authorities and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF).
In addition, the visiting guest underscored the significance of promoting bilateral cooperation in human resource training, IT, startup, building smart cities and more in the coming time. In particular, focus will be on boosting bilateral tourism cooperation in the current context of a growing number of Singaporeans choosing Da Nang as the first destination for their trips to Central Viet Nam.
