Currently, many Japanese businesses are operating effectively in the city. In February, a delegation of the city authorities will attend an investment promotion seminar in Japan.
Vice Chairman Minh remarked that his city welcomes Japanese investments into its High-Tech Park. Mr Minh also hoped that the multi-faceted cooperative ties between Da Nang and Japanese localities would be strengthened in the years ahead in a more practical and effective manner.
In reply, Chairman Tsutsui Toyoharu said his Association is performing a number of meaningful activities in Viet Nam, including its donations to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC), and its active engagement in helping to train healthcare workers.
Last year, the Association offered medical assistance to the Da Nang Cancer Hospital, and held many bilateral cultural exchanges across the city.
