On Monday, Da Nang People's Council Chairman Nguyen Nho Trung and municipal People's Committee Standing Vice Chairman Dang Viet Dung hosted Russian Consul General in Da Nang Brovarets Andrei Petrovich and Chinese Consul General in Da Nang Xi Hui.

During his meeting with the city leaders, Russian Consul General in Da Nang Brovarets Andrei Petrovich extended the best Tet wishes to the Party, government and people of Da Nang, and hoped that the city would record even more success this year.

He vowed that he would be more actively engaged in introducing Da Nang's investment environment to Russian tourists and businesses, hereby strengthening the relationships between Da Nang with Russian localities, and between the 2 countries as a whole.

The Russian diplomat highlighted the significance of boosting bilateral cooperation in investment, trade, and tourism in the coming time.

In his remarks at his meeting with the city leaders, Chinese Consul General in Da Nang Xi Hui pledged that her agency would do its utmost to accelerate the bilateral ties with Da Nang through cooperation activities in tourism, smart city building, hi-tech, cultural exchanges, and more.

In particular, she was pleased to announce the expected opening of visa application service at her agency after the forthcoming Lunar New Year 2019 festival, thereby creating favourable conditions for enhancing bilateral exchanges and cooperation.

In reply, the hosts appealed for active involvement by their Russian and Chinese guests in making the bilateral multi-faceted cooperative ties with these foreign countries more fruitful in the years ahead.
