Visiting historical Hoang Sa witnesses
Mr Vo Ngoc Dong, the Director of the Da Nang Department of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the Hoang Sa Islands District People’s Committee, and Deputy Director in charge of Hoang Sa Exhibition House Le Tien Cong, on Thursday, visited some historical witnesses who once served on the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Archipelago over the historical periods.

The witnesses are Tran Van Son, Nguyen Van Cuc and Nguyen Van Du, all of whom now reside in Son Tra District.
They affirmed that memories of the islands would remain deep in their minds despite the passage of time.
Mr Dong extended his best Tet wishes to the Hoang Sa witnesses, and hoped that they will continue educating younger generations to be get actively engaged in safeguarding the national sovereignty.
Also on the same day, Mr Dong visited the family of the late witness Lu Dieu, and offered incense to him.
Representatives from the Hoang Sa Islands District authorities are visiting other Hoang Sa witnesses residing in Da Nang and the neighbouring of Quang Nam until the end of Saturday.
