Da Nang ranks fourth in PAR INDEX 2018
Da Nang has been ranked 4th amongst the 63 cities and provinces nationwide in the Provincial Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX) 2018 as gaining a score of 83.70% out of 100 points.

The results were announced by Deputy Prime Minister cum Head of the Government’s Steering Committee for Administrative Reform Truong Hoa Binh at a meeting on Friday afternoon in Ha Noi which reviewed the country’s administrative reforms over the past year.
Quang Ninh secured top position in PAR INDEX rankings with 89.06%, followed by Ha Noi with 83.98% and Dong Thap with 83.71%.
Meanwhile, Phu Yen Province came bottom of the rankings with a score of 69.53%.
As for the ministry-level index results, the State Bank of Viet Nam took the lead nationally of 18 ministries and departments with a score of 90.57%, whilst the Ministry of Transport was the bottom of the rankings with 75.13%.
According to the 2018 Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS) released by the Committee on the same day, the citizen satisfaction towards the delivery of public administration services averaged 82.99%.
The lowest score was 69.98% while the highest was 97.88%. Half of localities nationwide recorded an index of 81.92 and 97.88% while the remaining was between 69.98 and 81.92%.
Public satisfaction towards access to services, administrative procedures, officials, reception and settlement of public feedback was 80.62%, 86.40%, 85.10%, 88.13% and 74.07% respectively.
Compared to 2017, the SIPAS 2018 rose by over 2%.
