City leaders present gifts to social policy families
On Monday afternoon, Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary Vo Cong Tri visited and presented gifts to some social policy families in Thanh Khe District’s Hoa Khe Ward in recognition of the 72nd anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (27 July).

During his meeting with heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Thanh residing on Tran Xuan Le Street, Deputy Secretary Tri wished her good health and a happy life. He hoped that she would continue to educate her grandchildren about national glorious revolutionary traditions and ardent patriotism in order to make greater dedication to the cause of national construction and protection.

Besides, Mr Tri paid a visit to the family of war invalid Le Huu Chung living on Huynh Ngoc Hue Street.
He highly appreciated Mr Chung for his great devotion to the nation's revolutionary cause, and for donating his family’s own land for extending a public road.
Also on the same day, municipal People’s Council Chairman Nguyen Nho Trung paid visits to heroic Vietnamese mother Mai Thi Say, and Mrs Mai Thi Thon, both in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Hai Ward.

Mr Trung wished them a good health, hoping that they would continue to be a bright example for younger generations to follow.
