Cash and material donations to help the city tackle Covid-19

On Monday afternoon, the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee received nearly 600 million VND and 10 tonnes of rice in donations from 9 businesses and religious organisations in the city to support efforts of the city’s frontline healthcare workers in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.

In details, the Da Nang Vocational Training Junior College donated 140 million VND, the M.E.I Material, Equipment and Investment Construction JSC 130 million VND, the Petroleum Company Zone 5 Company 100 million VND and 100 bottles of hand sanitizer, the Power Transmission Company No 2 Company 87.6 million VND, the Bat Nha Pagoda 50 million VND, the city branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies 50 million VND, the city’s Christian Association 30 million VND, the Cao Dai Missionary Church 10 million VND, and the city branch of the Loc Troi Group 10 tonnes of rice.

Chairwoman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee Dang Thi Kim Lien thanked the donors for their generosity and moral support to the city authorities to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
