During his visits to these places, Col Chin praised female healthcare workers for their efforts to cope with, overcome difficulties to perform their duties well at the isolation sites.

He took the opportunity to ask female returnees to well abide by the rules of their isolcation sites and stay healthy in order to return home after their 14-day quarantine ends.

As of 6 March, a total of 1,044 returnees from coronvirus affected areas had gone into quarantine for 14 days at designated sites in the city.
