On Tuesday, some companies, agencies and organisations in Da Nang donated a total of 792 million VND to support the city's efforts in the battle against coronavirus.

In detail, the municipal Department of Construction donated 223 million VND, the Vinaconex 25 JSC 200 million VND, the A Chau Architecture and Trading Co. Ltd., 200 million VND, and the city’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Association 50 million VND.

Also, the municipal Female Entrepreneurs' Association offered 1,000 health insurance cards to the city’s frontline healthcare workers. Health insurance cost for one person is 119,000 VND and the card is valid for 3 months. The maximum premiums paid for the health insurance holder are set at 200 million VND.

Mrs Dang Thi Kim Lien, the Chairwoman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee, thanked the donors for their generosity and support to help the city combat the pandemic. She hoped that local businesses would overcome the impacts of the coronavirus outbreak on their production and business activities to maintain their operations.
