On Friday morning, a group of Da Nang’s leaders, led by municipal Party Committee Secretary Truong Quang Nghia, offered incense and laid a wreath at the 2 September Peace Monument to mark the 90^th founding anniversary of the municipal Party Committee (28 March ) and the 45^th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the city (29 March). The wreaths carried the words ‘Eternal Gratitude to the Heroic Martyrs’.

The participants observed a minute’s silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation’s re-unification.

In front of the hallowed memorial to the heroic martyrs, the leaders vowed to continue to uphold their consensus and solidarity, and do their utmost to make Da Nang even more civilised and prosperous in the years ahead.
