The Da Nang government is willing to create the most favourable bconditions for Japanese investors to operate effectively in the city.

The statement was made by municipal Party Committee Secretary Truong Quang Nghia during his recent reception for Japanese Ambassador to Viet Nam Umeda Kunio.

Secretary Nghia highly appraised the Japanese diplomat for his great efforts in promoting bilateral cooperation ties between Japanese and Da Nang localities over recent years.

The host took the opportunity to ask the Japanese Consulate Office in Da Nang to join forces with relevant local agencies to prevent the spread of the virus in the city.

In reply, Mr Umeda Kunio highlighted efforts by the government and people of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, in the fight against Covid-19.

The Japanese ambassador hoped that the city leaders would continue to create very favourable conditions for Japanese investors operate efficiently in the city in the coming time. He believed that Da Nang will welcome more visitor arrivals from Japan when the virus is contained.
