Additional 550 million VND in donations to help the city struggle with coronavirus
On Friday morning, the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee received about 550 million VND in donations from some businesses and religious organisations in the city to support efforts of the city’s frontline healthcare workers in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

In details, the Executive Board of the city's Buddhist Sangha donated 100 million VND, the SCG Viet Nam Cement Building Materials Co., Ltd, 200 million VND, the Shinhan Vietnam Finance Co., Ltd, 200 million VND, the Petrolimex Da Nang company more than 38 million VND, and the city branch of the DoJi Jewelry Corporation 10 million VND.

Vice Chairman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee Le Van Minh thanked the donors for their generosity and moral support to the city authorities to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
He said his organisation has received 3.1 billion VND in donations from generous individuals and organisations over the past week. The donations have gone to support efforts of frontline healthcare facilities in the combat against coronavirus.
