More cash and material donations for the city's coronavirus fight

On Wednesday, the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee received cash and material donations from generous businesses and organisations in the city to support the city’s efforts in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.

In details, the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 1,000 Covid-19 test kits totalling 500 million VND, the Duc Manh JSC and the Minh Toan Trading Co.,Ltd a 720 million VND PB840 ventilator, members of the municipal Young Entrepreneurs Association a 195 million VND portable ventilator, the Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Engineering Company 50 million VND, the ‘Vu Tru Xanh’ Company a 50 million VND Rice ATM, the Sympathetic Hearts Association 100 million VND, and the elderly living in the city’s care centre for those who gave great service in the nation's revolutionary cause 10 million VND.

Vice Chairman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee Tran Viet Dung thanked the donors for their generosity, active support and solidarity spirit to help the city overcome difficulties to tackle the pandemic.

He added the donations will go to support efforts of frontline healthcare facilities in the combat against coronavirus. Meanwhile, the ‘rice ATM’ will be placed in a suitable location in the city to provide free rice for those affected by the pandemic.
