During his meeting with the Department’s leaders, Deputy Secretary Quang highlighted the vital role of the Science and Technology Sector in boosting the city’s growth.

He took the opportunity to urge the Department’s staff to make greater efforts to develop science and technology studies and then put them into practice, and make effective use of technologies in the agricultural sector.

During his visits to the municipal Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Da Nang Entrepreneurship Support (DNES) on the same day, Deputy Secretary Quang urged these agencies to encourage businesses operating in Da Nang to be innovative in their approaches and use of new technologies and development of their innovative technologies. This will contribute to realising the Da Nang’s ambitions of becoming a major hub of startup and innovation in Viet Nam, Mr Quang added.

He hoped that both the municipal Union of Science and Technology Associations and DNES would make even more efforts to help startup businesses in the city overcome their difficulties amid coronavirus pandemic.

Deputy Secretary Quang remarked that the municipal authorities pledge their full support to help promote the development of the Science and Technology Sector in the city.
