On Wednesday, Da Nang People's Council Vice Chairman Le Minh Trung visited and presented gifts to child patients at the city’s Cancer Hospital in recognition of International Children’s Day (1 June).

Vice Chairman Trung praised the hospital’s staff for providing great care for cancer patients, especially children, in Da Nang and elsewhere in the central region.

Mr Trung pledged that Da Nang government will issue more preferential policies to support the hospital in the future.

On the occasion, Mr Trung presented gifts, worth one million VND each, to 20 poor child patients.
