Hoa Vang District Fellow countrymen in HCMC actively support their hometown to tackle Covid-19
Immediately after Da Nang braced for a second wave of coronavirus infections oin late July, the Hoa Vang District fellow countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City have been active in providing cash and in-kind support for their hometown in Da Nang to help it in the battle against Covid-19.

Their donations have comprised of 300 bunk beds, 10 boxes of surgical masks, and 200 million VND in cash.
Previously, they had presented in-kind gifts to 22 heroic Vietnamese mothers and 32 veterans who have been seriously injured as a result of service on in their hometown. In addition, they had helped build 2 new houses, totalling 100 million VND, for the needy, to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (27 July).
Over recent years, the Hoa Vang District Fellow Countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City has provided practical support to those who need it most in their hometown.
Included are granting scholarships to poor studious pupils in the district, helping local social policy families renovate their old houses or build new ones, giving Tet gifts to disadvantaged people in a bid to help them enjoy a warm and happy Tet, and providing free medical examinations and treatment for poor people.
Also, students from Hoa Vang District who are studying in Ho Chi Minh City have received great support from the Association.
