The Da Nang Labour Union has worked with its Thanh Khe District chapter and the Trade Union organisation of the municipal Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks to give cash gifts of 500,000 VND each to their members citywide who are struggling to make ends meet due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In detail, 100 cash gifts have gone to members of the Thanh Khe District chapter of the Da Nang Labour Union, whilst the remaining 120 have been given to poor workers in the Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks across Da Nang.

Also on the same day, representatives from the Viet Nam Youth Federation and the Trade Union organisation of the municipal Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks together distributed 470 food parcels, totalling over 35 million VND, to young workers affected by the coronavirus outbreak. Each 75,000 VND food parcel consisted of rice, a bunch of fresh vegetables, and chicken eggs.
