Vietnamese, Saudi Arabian FMs seek ways to foster bilateral ties
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh held phone talks on 23 September with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, to discuss their respective countries’ situation as well as measures to boost bilateral relations.

This is the second time the two FMs have joined in phone talks within two months.
Minh extended his greetings to the Prince on the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s 90th National Day (September 23). He affirmed that Viet Nam attaches importance to further developing its friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
The two officials said they are satisfied with remarkable achievements in bilateral relations after recent talks, and stressed both sides should intensify cooperation in politics, economy, investment and tourism for the interests of the two countries’ people, and for peace and stability in the region and the world.
Within the framework of the talks, the two sides exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual concern.
