Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, on Tuesday, visited the Sun Group and the Petrol Vietnam Oil Corporation Zone 5 (Petrolimex Da Nang) to extend greetings to their staff on the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (13 October).

During his visit to the Sun Group, Deputy Secretary Quang commended the Sun Group staff for their efforts to develop impressive tourism products in the city, hereby helping make Da Nang one of Viet Nam's most visited destinations.

He also asked a helping hand from the group to assist the city to develop action plans to drive post-pandemic tourism recovery. Also, he vowed that the municipal authorities would always create the most favourable conditions for the business to operate effectively in the city.

In reply, Mr Duong The Bang, Director of the Sun Group in the Central Region, said that his group has prioritised creating more unique tourism products in Da Nang, thereby making contributions to driving the development of the city’s tourism industry.

He revealed that the construction of the 6^th cable car system in the Sun World Ba Na Hills was now underway, and the new development is expected to put into operation late this year. Also, more tourism products would be developed in the city next year in a bid to increase visitor numbers in the city.

While meeting with leaders of the Petrolimex Da Nang, Deputy Secretary Quang praised the company for its remarkable achievements and its significant contributions to the city's budget over the past year.

The Petrolimex Da Nang earns an annual turnover of over 6 trillion VND on an average. Last year, it contributed 910 billion VND to the city’s budget.

Also on the same day, municipal Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho visited and congratulated staff of the Mabuchi Motor Da Nang and Seatecco companies on their special day.

He highly appreciated both companies for their remarkable achievements over recent years.

He also took the opportunity to urge the companies to continue upholding their achievements in order to drive better business results.

Chairman Tho also underlined a must-do for them to take the initiative in changing their business strategies in order to overcome the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Also on Tuesday, municipal People's Council Chairman Nguyen Nho Trung extended greetings to staff of the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Company and the Daiwa Vietnam Company on their special day.
